It is difficult to point out the defference between the westerm sports and the " BUDO ". But once you participate in the latter, you will realize its identity. At the practice, you will be required more spiritual equilibium,obliged to face your-self in mind. Your practice,to get both coformity between mental and physical state,disciplines your mind,as well improves your " WAZA " skills. Even at a match,of course which concludes with a victory or defeat,its result is not all you will stick so much,because the match is a important occasion for self-descipline. Also you may know that your enemy is the comrade of " BUDO " and each of competitors bears a certain sympathy with its spilit toward another. In this meaning,you will respect each other,which should appear courtesy to him. This is " REI " which " BUDO " is endued with.
